About Pica CRM
Pica CRM is a practical customer relationship management publication that helps small businesses choose CRM software, organize customer data, build sales pipelines, automate follow-ups, and improve customer relationships. We write for small business owners, startup founders, sales managers, sales representatives, marketing teams, customer-service teams, freelancers, consultants, CRM administrators, operations managers, and real-estate professionals.
Why We Started This Site
Most CRM content online is written by the software vendors selling it, which means it's built to close a sale, not to help you avoid the wrong one. We saw small teams sign multi-year contracts for platforms sized for companies ten times their headcount, then abandon the tool within two quarters because nobody agreed on how to use it. Pica CRM exists to slow that decision down by a day or two and make it a better one.
What We Cover
Every guide on this site sits under one of seven pillars, and we chose seven because CRM adoption touches nearly every part of a small sales operation, from the first contact record to the last follow-up reminder.
We explain not just which features exist, but why a business might need them, what implementation actually involves, and which limitations matter before you sign a contract. We do not treat software as a solution to every sales or customer-service problem. Sometimes the fix is a written rule about who owns a lead, not a new tool.
Our Editorial Standards
Pica CRM does not encourage scraping private contact information, recommend buying unauthorized email lists, or promote spam or deceptive outreach. We do not tell readers to collect unnecessary personal data, and we never hide an affiliate relationship or present a sponsored ranking as independent analysis. Where a claim needs a source, we name it. Where we're stating an opinion built from experience, we say so directly.
